The Scottish Tourist Board's definition of a Hotel are

- A Small Hotel is a hotel with up to a maximum of  20 rooms is usually run by the owners and reflect their style and personal input.

'The Barn Lodge' is two converted barns on a working farm, it consists of seven spacious bedrooms - 4 family (can sleep 3/4 people), 2 double and 1 twin. Cots are available upon request.
